What We Believe
At Mission Church, our beliefs are rooted in historic Christian faith and grounded in the authority of Scripture. We believe the Bible reveals who God is, who we are, and how we are saved. Below are the essential truths that shape everything we do.
Salvation
We believe salvation is by grace alone through faith alone in Jesus Christ.
No one can earn salvation through works. It is the free gift of God received by trusting in Christ.
(Ephesians 2:8–9; Romans 10:9)
The Bible
We believe the Bible is the inspired and authoritative Word of God.
Scripture is God-breathed and trustworthy in all it teaches. It is our final authority for faith, doctrine, and daily living.
(2 Timothy 3:16–17; Psalm 119:105)
God
We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
God is the Creator of all things and is perfectly holy, loving, and just.
(Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14)
Jesus Christ
We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God, fully God and fully man.
He lived a sinless life, died on the cross for our sins, rose bodily from the grave, and will return again.
(John 1:1–14; 1 Corinthians 15:3–4)
